Exams and Rushing

SInce school is coming to an end exams are arriving. Hopefully for exams I will be able to study and most likely will not be getting any rest. But my math exam is going to be the hardest one I will have to take along with chemistry, international relations, and chemisty lab. And most of all math is the most important exam period because its worth the most and I didnt do really well in the first half of the semester in that class even though I get help when I can, but the good part is that I have been doing well the second half. So hopefully I will do well on my final… not just math but everyone I will be taking.

OMG, this week has been one of the most hectic weeks of this semester. I have been studying for exams and doing homework for classes and working like everyday. I am also glad that this week is coming to an end with very nice weather. I just had my advising appoinment today and I dont think that I am going to get into my chem 102 class be cause since i only took 14 credit hours last semster I will have to register on Monday the 21st, which I dont thik is fair because I worked just as hard as any other person with more classes, but hopefully during add and drop week some spaces will open. I am so excited to be taking portuguese because I will be studying abroad sometime next year or the next year in Brazil. I cannot wait to go there because it is such a beautiful place.

So Sick…

I have been sick with like chronic allergies since this past thursay and I am so mad because I havent been sick with the allergies since last summer. And what makes it worse is that I work at student health and everyone be sneezing and coughing in there. I hope I get better because I’m starting to go to the gym and I can’t be sick while working out. Its like I dont even have the energy to get out of bed and go to work and I have been missing days out of work lately because of it.

The end of the semester is becoming closer and closer. And at all the same time all of my classes are giving me a ton of work like I only have that specific class. I am still very unsure of what I want to do over the summer but hopefully I will decide by the end of the semester. I baisically cant take any science classes over the summer because I cant take them at a commuity college which is soooo much more cheaper. And the fact that this Acceleration Program is taking up a good portion of the summer has got me confused. I havent even started to finish my general ed classes because I have so many sciences and maths to take and I am a Poli Sci Major w/pre-med concentration. And im thinking about minoring in global studies dont know yet.

Today or Thursday I was not feeling very well at all. I felt really nauseous and sick. I felt like I had to throw up but it would not come up. I had called out of work because of this and it was like I couldn’t wake up or move to get up. My body is probably worn out from alot of things with not getting any sleep one of them. I know that I always talk about how tired and sleep I am so from now on I will just say optimistic things and have a positive attitude because I know that a lot of people would like to be in my place. But you just can’t help how restless you are.

I surely can’t wait to be out of school because I need a break. Its like every weekend is not a weekend it like a week day because I am so busy. I went to sleep last night at like 3 in the morning and then woke up for a 8 o’clock class. And then the next day I go all day between classes and work and then homework and tutoring/si sessions. I won’t ever take getting enough sleep for granted if this is what it feels like.

Working Week

This week has been so hectic and busy. From class to work and in between studying for exams and doing homework. The weather is still very windy and cool but mabe its starting to warm up. I didn’t know preparing for the summer could be so much work. I will be taking classes and hopefully working during the summer if I can find a job before then. There is just so much to do between now and then. Can’t wait for this semester to be over.

Weather or Not?

Wow this weather is really starting to become weird around here. Today was such a nice day with warm and very windy weather. And I just saw the news saying next week it may be snow and for sure very cold weather. I just hope there will be a day in the future when we can say this whole week will be warm and predictable. Its to the point where if there is even a breeze of cool weather people are outside trying to enjoy every bit of it acting like its the summer with their attire.

Back into Action

Since being back from spring break life is back to usuall and as hectic as can be. The withdrawl date is almost here. I was thinking about withdrawing from my math class because its not going so well and I just recieved my midterm grades which are not good for that class. I have decided to continue in hopes of doing better the second half of the semester. If I recieve a D or lower then I will retake it during the summer. Since I will be hopefully going into med school I think having a low gade and then making it up is better than a W on my transcript, so I will put much more effort in continuing the next half of this semester in this class.

My Spring Break

Spring break was something. I did alot of running around for my mother and barely got any sleep or rest. I did get a chance to go and do something~ I went to the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. It was a very interesting trip since my and my cousin took the metro there. I loved the ride. But what was so interesting was that every 20 to 30 mins my cousin had to use the bathroom because she’s pregnant. It was so funny. It was like the whole time we were there our time was spent looking for restrooms, but it was fun trip. I think the Holocaust Museum in D.C. was very informative but was not as interactive as the Museum in Richmond. The Holocaust Museum in Richmond was very interactive and informative. It allowed you to became or be in the shoes of a person who experienced such attrocitues during Hitler’s despicable reign in Germany. If anyone has not been to either museum it would be very worthy of your time.

Overall I enjoyed the Break but of course it went by too fast. I feel like I missed out on some sleep that I needed.
